Hi there,
My name s David and I own and operate Haunted San Diego Tours.
RE: The original message, allow me to invite you to experience our tour for yourself, it is quite enjoyable and our guest feedback has been tremedous.
Yes, myself and my associates were the nucleus of the last (and very best) version of Old Town Trolley's Ghost and Gravestones tour. But another ghost tour also has ex-G&G cast members from long ago and it can get confusing out there. Yes, you could just visit the Whaly House Museum a one poster here suggests, yet you'd be missing out on the other rich ad colorful history of many other San Diego locations which our tours visit.
Also Haunted San Diego Tours offers a discounted Whaley House Admission for guests of our tour. Granted and correct, we do not (nor do we desire to) enter The Whaley House or any other 'Haunted' location on our tour and for good reason. We do not want to be known as a museum tour, we wisely leave 'touring museums' to the individual. We are however a Historic Ghost Story Tour of San Diego, and Ghost Stories are the corner stone of our tour. No one tells them like we do. We also transport our guests to these locations aboard our cleverly themed Ghost Bus, only addding to your ghostly experience.
To wind this all up, thank you for noticing and mentioning that Haunted San Diego's Tour flyer is distributed through the Whaley House museum shop. We are very proud of that and we think it speaks volumes that they support our tour in this manner.
For further information please feel free to call our office 1-877-6-Haunted and/or visit our webpage at www.HauntedSanDiegoTours.com
: There's actually several different night tours
: that pass by the Whaley House. The newest
: tour is the Haunted San Diego which runs
: somewhat similiar to the old Ghosts &
: Gravestone tour. The second is a Walking
: Ghost Tour which mainly focuses on Old Town
: hauntings. The last is a limo tour that can
: take you to several different haunting spots
: which may or may not include the Whaley
: House. Unfortunately none of these specific
: tours actually go inside the Whaley House.
: The Whaley House Museum now has a nighttime
: general admission that costs a fraction of
: these other tours. If you're looking for a
: more extensive tour of hauntings, try any of
: the three. If you're interested in just the
: Whaley House, my suggestion is just head
: there.

: Welcome to the board! I have not yet toured
: the new one featured at the Whaley House
: (funds prevent me from getting much
: entertainment these days! And you'd think
: that a fansite like this one, they could cut
: a guy a discount!) :-)
:
: Although if he was from the previous tour,
: that is a good sign. That way, he's already
: familiar with the content of the tour!

: Hi. I'm new to this board, and I want to ask
: a
: question. I was down at the Whaley House
: the other day and picked up a flier for
: Haunted San Diego Tours. The lady at the
: shop where you buy tickets said it was new
: and the guy running the tour used to work
: for Ghost and Gravestones. She didn't know
: if was any good or not. What I want to ask
: is has anyone been on the tour and is it
: worth it. There website looks pretty good
: it's www.hauntedsandiegotours.com. Well I
: guess that's all. Thanks.
