Posted by David Before I begin... Well... unlike you, I welcome confrontation. With that being said; First off I am not advertising here or using this board as a ploy. I would also like to point out as well that We certainly do not operate a School Bus.

To Cherubim,
I believe it to be a GREAT way to clear up obvious confusion in the world.
But just because I welcome confrontation doesn't and should'nt mean that I go around bothering people. That is to say those who do not bother me first. Do you see the difference there?
My reason for responding to you is: I wanted to address some gross mis-statements on your part concerning Haunted San Diego Ghost Tours.
I was simply responding to an earlier inquiry about the tours, much the same as I am responding to you. In my response I mention my tours for reference, not as advertisment.
The question was directly asking about new ghost tours in Old Town, and who better to respond to that than I?
If you had read my post correctly you may have realized that. But since apparantly it seems that you may not haveI feel some clarification to be in order.
The name of my company is San Diego Entertainment Tours... hence the 'Entertainment' as you noted, so thank you for pointing that out.
Yet may I state that we certainly are also a History Tour of San Diego and most certainly a Ghost Tour. Just because Haunted San Diego Ghost Tours chooses to not 'tour museums' certainly doesn't make us not a Ghost Tour...
Now perhaps, to you, just stepping into a building and peeking around for a few brief minutes is okay, but I would rather not treat people who are trusting me with their tour experience that way.
We at Haunted San Diego respectfully and conciously invite our guests to explore theses incredible museums on thier own time and more importantly AT THIER LEISURE.
Incredible Historic Sites such as the ones here in San Diego deserve to be explored, not ran in and out of. f you were a Tour Operator and cared about the visitors to San Diego as I do then you might agree with me.
Further more you obviously think that a common, dime a dozen limo is more appropriate to a Ghost Tour than a Themed Tour Vehicle. ??? Well, that certainly is your call, but most people are not like that and opt for the entertainment value that my tour provides.
I say... Limos are for proms and weddings, but that is just how I feel.
Also my tour is much more economical than the other tour you speak of, a $6 difference per ticket is attractive to most... and OMG who wants to spend 3 HOURS on ANY tour? Not me.
Most people enjoy a quick fun romp like ours.
Guests of Haunted San Diego can enter The Whaley House for just $6 as well, a significant discount. Can the others offer that?
And yes I will be offering an upcoming walking tour for just $11 which will INCLUDE Whaley Admission... far less than the $19 ticket price offered elsewhere, Thank You for asking. But I will leave the 'Ghost Hunting' to the person whom I consider to be the real deal in town.
Our vehicle was not designed as, nor ever served as a school bus... not that it matters, but your comment made it sound less than.
On the contrary, we put alot of caring into our decision to create for our guests, a Unique Tour Vehicle and nowhere on our Tour Vehicle do we now, or have we ever incorporated "rubber bats".
I am sorry to say so but you don't know what you're talking about.
So please, before you publicly state things about my tour, make certain that they are correct.
Lastly , You have made it quite clear that you are an ardent fan of the other tour product, and good on you. They offer thier own unique product as do I and I wish them the best of luck. Actually, I have been on their tour twice and must say they made me chuckle a time or two, but it is in NO WAY beter than mine! Besides as you may or may not know, Haunted San Diego Ghost Tours is the only ghost tour featured on The Whaley House's official website and personally, I think, THAT is all the recommndaton I will ever need. Regardless what you think of my tour content.
But again, my original post a few weeks ago was to address SOMEONE ELSE'S question of TOURS in Old Town and around The Whaley House, I had every right to reply in the manner which I did and quite frankly I am surprised at your interruption and saddened that you would accuse my good natured reply to another poster as "distasteful" when you do not even know me. Shame on you!
I do however appreciate the chance to read your comments and I thank you for the opprotunity to respond.
Have a Good Day.
David
