Posted by Jack I wanted to retract a previous statement I made a few messages ago about a negative experience with the Whaley House. I, again, visited the house this past Monday and was greeted in a friendly way. The gentleman upstairs seemed very knowledgable about history, but he was too new to have any good ghost stories. The woman at the door was also very knowledgable about the Whaleys AND had some great ghost encounters. Thank you Lucia. Although I'm still disappointed about not having a walking tour, the lady at the door explained nicely the reasons why. Unfortunately she had no comforting answer for the high admission price. But that's okay, this time it was worth it. Sincerely, PS. I AM disappointed that no one representing the Whaley House responded to my email and message post. I would feel that in good business practice that someone would have at least acknowledged it. Is there a representative on this board that I may direct comments too? Both bad and good comments. I'd really appreciate it. Thank you.
