Hi Bonnie, you bring up a good point about the respect. I have noticed when I visit the Whaley house, which is a lot, that there's NOT a lot of respect from lots of visitors. I know they pay to get in same as me, but so many scream and yell, run around and act like jack-asses. It ruins my visit lots of times. The people who work there ususally don't say anything to the disruptive people, so I dont feel like I can complain. Wonder how the Whaley spirits feels about this. I assume that if the employees have to discipline the visitors they have to give the money back if they make someone leave. Maybe they just put up with it for the money, but I hope not.
: Hi Sheila,
:
: You bring up a very good point. Ghosts or
: spirits as I like to call them as just
: people who no longer have a physical body.
: They should be treated with respect.

: I know this isnt really about the Whaley
: house, but there are lots of haunted places
: and cities. New Orleans is one of those.
: Probably reasons for it being so haunted are
: all the epidemics, duels, misery of slavery
: and all sorts of things. Ive been there and
: they have lots of ghost tours, cemetary
: tours and voodoo tours. I took all of them,
: they were fun and entertaining.
:
: Now with all the new tragedy there, wonder
: what New Orleans will be like in the future?
: Paranormally speaking anyways. I hope all
: those lost are in a better place, and not
: trapped somewhere earthbound, lost and
: confused. Makes me feel guilty about paying
: money hoping to see a ghost. Just something
: thats been on my mind.
