Yes is should be an enjoyable experience, yes people are there mostly for the haunted aspect of the house, but the people serious about that do appreciate a quieter atmosphere. People who come in and act like its a fun park are probably scaring away the spirits and the more disrespect shown diminishes the ghosthunting element for us all. I think if we all treated the spirits with more respect by behaving better, we'd all have a better experience there. Plus its an old house and should be treated carefully. If it falls apart from rowdy visitors nobody will be able to enjoy it.
: Hey for the know it all Boo who doesnt work
: there but seems to know everything about how
: the whaley house works, excuse me but the
: Whaley house is a TOURIST ATTRACTION, people
: pay good money to go there and have fun. No
: I dont think people should be pushing people
: down the stairs but it is a place to have
: fun. Its a haunted house, people pay to see
: something. Last spring when I was there with
: my family the one guy that works there even
: proved this. He had a comedy ghost show in
: the theater room upstairs and even played
: Britney Spears on the organ for us! Now if
: thats not amusement I dont know what is! We
: had a blast. Its even on midnight ghost ride
: tours! And no I never saw any signs saying
: it wasnt a park and if you dont act a
: certain way they will kick you out where you
: buy the tickets. People play outside on the
: yard and no one says anything to them. If I
: cant go to the Whaley house and enjoy myself
: then forget it. If their going to be all
: stuffy and snotty about it then they should
: stop bragging about it being haunted. Then
: only boring people will go there and have a
: boring time.
