Hi, I live Chandler. It has been over a year, how did the reconstruction go? I am a five year survivor as of this past May. I have a dear friend in Casa Grande who had radiation to shrink a large tumor, then breast removed and chemo, another lump appeared, same side, then she had radiation, and is undergoing more chemo. In Oct. the other breast will be removed. She is only 46, doesn't know if she can take anymore as when all of this started she was thinking of reconstruction. I am one of the lucky ones, I had a lumpectomy, all nodes clear, they only took four, had 4 chemo treatments and radiation. She was really burned by the radiation. So was reconstruction woth the pain?
Take care, I'd like to hear from you!
