I was diagnosed with Stage 3 Invasive Breast Cancer on 7/27/09. I am still in the process of having tests done. Just had a breast MRI today and going for a Brain MRI tomorrow. The cancer has spread to my lymph nodes.
As of right now, my treatment will be 3 months of Chemo, the operation to remove the lump, then 3 more months of Chemo. Of course this all depends on how I react to the Chemo and how things progress.
I'm okay, I think it's going to be all good. Something positive has to come out of all of this. Have to look for a bright side. It's a long road and being positive is the best medicine.
