Marcia, I'm also sorry that you've been diagnosed with BC. Glad you found this site because there are a lot of knowledge here. About the MRI, there is open sided ones also. My hubby is closterfobic and he's a big guy(retired Army-go figure)so he goes for the open sided ones. Me, I just go to sleep in them. Please keep us posted, Hugs Ruby
