Hi Pat,
Thanks for posting. It's always good to have a sense of how everyone is doing. I can't even begin to imagine what it would be like to have a be so sick as a child, and I'm so glad that your he's doing well now. I agree with you that it's harder watching someone you love sick than being sick yourself, though. I watched my mother go through Alzheimer's for over 10 years--from forgetting her keys to reverting to being a child to finally not being able to even lift her head off the pillow. I can honestly say my 15 months of treatment, difficult though it was, was a walk in the park compared to the heartache I felt watching her go through her illness.
