my mastectomy and lymph node surgery (9 nodes)was on 2/8. I had a staph infection/cellulitis in the interim. My underarm and the far right of my breast incision remain really swollen. It's restrictive and hurts...affects my ability to exercise (ROM). When I ask about the swelling I'm told it's left over swelling from cellulitis. I'm beginning to think it's from the lymph node removals. How long have any of you had swelling as I describe. THANK YOU so very much. I'm frustrated...2nd chemo tomorrow...way behind of schedule.
