Hi warriors,
I cannot believe how fast time goes by. I finished my last round of Taxotere and Cyclophosphamide. I still have Herceptin every 3 weeks for a year. I would not have done as well as I have were it not for this website and the support of you, my fellow "pink sistas" and warriors.
I am recovering from this 4th round and the 10 shots of Neupogen that ended yesterday. I hate feeling sick but am encouraged by every day being a step forward in feeling better. I am just a bit crabby. My spouse is in bed beside me eating potato chips and insists on licking the flavoring off of each one before eating them. Drives me f%$kin nuts. Still, I love her with all of my heart and all of the last nerve she is jumping on right now lol.
I go back to work on the 18th. If I was a millionaire, I would take more time off. Just the same, it is better that I get back to normal life as soon as possible.
I will conclude my senseless ramble off by promoting my website. It is a collection of blogs about cancer and other medical issues. Feel free to post your own experiences - especially the humorous ones. I posted the story about my dog making off with my fake boob early in treatment.
