Hi Kathy,
I am happy that you had a break before your surgery, good on you. I had a single, and even though I did not have cancer in my right breast, I do wish I had asked for a double. I had 26 lymph nodes removed which made it hard to use my arm for a while, and needed help. You may need to consider your options if you are having an lymphectomy, though your sugeron would be good to talk to about this. I have heard that here in Aussie they do not do double mascetomy unless it is needed, do not know how much truth there is in that. Good luck and I am thinking of you.
