The surgeon was great today. She said that the MRI did not show the involvement that the PET scan did. She agreed with oncologist that they needed to come out asap. She was sorry that it seemed to progress so quickly.
She said that because only a couple of sentinal(?sp) nodes were involved and the MRI looked good she did not biopsy the lymph nodes. The PET scan however shows that they are involved.
One good thing is that she is going to do the port at the same time. Two Birds with one stone
