sorry for your diagnosis,but this site is great,,everyone has been there and has great advice for those just starting, I also had a lumpectomy but had node involvement did 6 chemo and 6 weeks of radiation. Chemo is differnet for everyone,, you have 4 treatments which hopefully will go by quickly for you. Some people work right thru it and have an easier time, some dont. Make sure you drink drink drink and then drink some more,, I didnt listen to that advice and I think I had a harder time because of it.. They will give you meds for nausea,, I never got nausous becasue I took them religiously. I had bone pain, fatigue and mouth sores, make sure you rinse after you eat anything,, the chemo goes after anything it thinks is germs. have milk of magneisa on hand and gingerale,,for tummy issues as well as prilosec, you may not need them but better be safe than sorry,
