You'll do fine! Chin up and be ready to fight. You already are taking part in your own care by finding out what YOU can do to help. I would also take Magnesium. Take it at night as it is also a natural relaxer. I take in the form of Natural Calm, a powder you mix with hot water. I use 1 tsp at a time. If you take more than that at first it can cause diarrhea. Some chemo can cause constipation - if that happens to you, you can take 1 tsp morning, noon and night. Otherwise, 1 tsp is good enough to help. Calcium doesn't work very well without magnesium.
Stay on top of things and take any anti nausea meds as prescribed. Don't wait till you need them. Take them even if you dont need them. If you can't seem to drink much water, just take small sips every 15 minutes or so. Getting dehydrated 3-4 days after chemo is not pleasant.
Drink lots of water the day of chemo and lots in the days after.
Praying for you to remain calm and at peace. Just get it done. It will be over before you know it.
HUGS.
