I think you need to do some reasearch there are TONS of studies regarding Vit C lessening the effectiveness of chemo, I have not found 1 that says it helps. Vitamin C's job is to protect your cells good & bad, just makes sense.
I too initially thought more is better, but not so and I am very happy I researched it before beginning to take high doses.
I suggest a normal multi with the normal daily allowance of C is your safest bet.
I took a Very Good Multi (New Chapter Brand) Vit B High Potency, Glumantine. It all worked very well for me no long term side effects from my treatments....Now I take like 14 vitamins & herbs daily LOL, but I didnt start anything during chemo just the B & Glumantine, Onco wasnt comfortable with anything else as you just dont know how these herbs will react with the chemo medicines, better to play it safe.
