Hi Amy,
So glad you are done with the surgery and all went well. I am also glad to hear you are getting a port. My Onc would not put a port in because I was only having 4 chemo treatments. Every time I went in for chemo they would stick me and my arm would usually ache for days afterwards. My last chemo was on July 5th and I have a chemical burn on my arm above the last needle stick. So I had to go see a Dermatologist today and I have to put an ointment on it twice a day. If I had known any of this I would not have allowed chemo without a port. Hindsight is truely 20/20.
