Ok, I just read ur 2nd post. Right now that may b ur husbands coping manner right now. How old are your kids? Im curious because I just turned 35 and am on my 2nd round of BC, and have 3 kids, 15,12,4.
Dont focus on your grandmother hunny! My mom and her father both had bc over 30 years ago, and are still alive and healthy today. Everyday the advances in medicine is amazing!!!!!!!
I met a nurse yesterday, whos mother is going threw treatment, and her 17 yr old nephew is as well!
The point of all this is something all 4 of my oncologists have said: age helps, dont lose weight, family is a huuuuuuuuge motivator, and my favorite...treat everyday you wake up breathing as a holiday, cause it is, and everyone, even those not sick should count their lucky stars!
