I've been taking Anastrazole since May, 2011. I've had the hot flashes, hair thinning and joint pain. I've read where another side effect is breast tenderness. My cancer was in my left breast (which to this day is tender and uncomfortable - dr. said this is common after lumpectomy and can last quite awhile). My right breast has had the tenderness - almost like when I was younger and got my period. I'm just wondering if anyone else has experienced this. I had my mammogram in February (both breasts) and things checked out ok. I did ask my onc about the tenderness and was told it is common. I guess I'm just hoping to feel better to hear others have experienced this side effect.
