Hi, I hope everyone's getting through the heat wave ok. (It's about 100* out here.) I've been hitting some roadblocks in the chemo lately. Round 3 of THC got delayed for 2 weeks because my white and red blood cell counts went and stayed too low. After I finally got it, I had a shot of Neulasta, which landed me in the ER 4 days later. (I had severe back and chest pain, and the ER did a lot of tests to rule out heart trouble before they decided it was a reaction to the Neulasta.) I'm not sure if many women here had to stop their chemo before all of the ordered rounds were done. I'm hoping to get through at least Round 4 (out of 6 scheduled), and then to continue with the Herceptin for the rest of the year.
It's been great to find this board and to see all the support everyone here gives to each other. Best wishes to all of you.
