Hi Amy.
Congratulations on getting number one out of the way! As Dianne said, stay ahead of the nausea. Pre medicate and hydrate.
The Neulasta is given subctaneous, just like an insulin shot. I gave myself the shot in my belly (where most of my fat is LOL).
I had EXTREME joint pain (knees, lower back and sternum) with the Neulasta. For me it may have been worse than the chemo. Many women on here swear by Claritin for the pain but I did much better with Advil or Aleve and a heating pad. Perhaps you will not have any pain.
So glad you are one treatment closer to your goal!
