Funny story about juicing.
I have a juicing recipe book and thought I would try out a new juice recipe. The recipe I was trying out called for an entire beet. I made the juice poured it over some ice and drank two 8 oz glasses of the mixture.
An hour or so passed before I had to use the restoom. When I stood up and turned to flush toliet the water was a a deep orange/red. I thought for sure I was going to die because their was blood in my urine. I went out and told my husband that we needed to go the hospital right away. When he asked why I told him what had happened. He started laughing and said "that's what happens when you drink your beets instead of eating them"...lol!
