Donna,
I know the feelling! I had my first one 3 weeks ago - the second is coming up this Thursday. It wasn't nearly as bad as I thought. It really wasn't bad at all. They made it really comfortable by offering snacks & juice and I watched TV the entire time.
I followed all of the advice from the pink sisters on this site. I drank LOTS OF WATER THE DAY BEFORE, OF AND THE DAYS TO FOLLOW. I took all of my nausea meds even if I didn't think I needed them. I felt tired about four days after the treatment and that lasted for a few days. I felt a few aches & took Advil, which helped. Keep something on your stomach. You may not feel like eating, but eat something anyway. I drank ginger ale and at crakers to help settle my stomach. I also washed my mouth out after every meal with baking soda, salt & warm water. I felt like I was going to get mouth sores, but I didn't. I think the rinsing helped.
That's all I can think of right now, but keep checking the site. Lots of good advice.
Sending hugs & prayers your way!
