Well today is day 7 of this cycle and I am feeling a bit drained. I think what I am experiencing is due to the fact that I have my period and not so much due to the chemo meds. If I am not feeling better by Tuesday afternoon I will call the onc just to be on the safe side.
There was a time when I would wait to call the doctor. I was so afraid of becoming one of those 'crazy cancer patients', but I have learned my lesson. Every time I try to tough it out, I end up in the hospital. I would rather call the doctor and be checked out in his office then end up spending a few nights in the hospital.
7 days down for this cycle, 7 more to go.
