I absolutely understand how you are feeling. I was diagnosed with idc in my left breast in March. Prior to surgery, an MRI was done on both breasts and there was something suspicious in the right. A regular ultrasound guided biopsy came back inconclusive so I needed to have an MRI guided biopsy. I did not have a wire placed because we decided to biopsy it rather than just mark it for removal. I was terrified, but the doctors explained what was happening throughout the very long procedure. Fortunately, it was nothing and I proceeded with a single mastectomy. I know that you are angry and are distancing yourself from family and friends, but you really need them to help you through this. If you have any other questions, I'd love to be able to help. There is light at the end of the tunnel.
