Hi Suzy,
How kind and thoughtful of you to have remembered her (and me). The surgeon and her GP believe her enlarged lymph node is the result of a previous surgery (replacement of implant on reconstruction). They did tell her they would remove it and biopsy it if she wanted. And her blood work came back normal, so they've ruled out lymphoma. So she feels a lot better now, especially since the MDs are leaving the decision up to her.
I wish I were back to dancing, but not yet. I've now had 5 arthroscopic knee surgeries (3 in one knee and 2 in the other) and I still have pain. The next step is to get gel shots. They're administered in the knee for arthritis once a week over a period of 3 weeks starting sometime next month. I'm hoping that will help. This has been worse for me than all of my cancer treatment, but hey, at least I can bicycle, so I'm happy about that.
Thanks again for asking.
Hugs,
Mary
