Hello everyone,
After dealing with this tumor for a while, I had this first diagnosed last year, I had a mamogram and a sonograph. The results seam to be now inconclusive. The tumor is an inch by half an inch and looks like a penut. I seen my doctor on tuesday it is final and surgery is scheduled for May. I am seing the surgent on May 3rd...My doctor gave me no options of needle biopsy...I had one 2 years ago, that was negative but the tumor has since doubled in size. Ofcourse I am scared...My origional diagnosis was fibroedenoma which is not cancerous but I have read that this tumor does not grow in women my age. I also found out that all my aunts had similar surgeries and their results were benign.
