Clairissa... I am so sorry you are having to go through this. I had a mastectomy without reconstruction in 2000. I refused chemotherapy. I had mets to bone in spine in 2001. I went through radiation and I take Femara & Actonel now. I am doing very well. It was rough, I won't lie to you, but you sound like you have a very supportive family and that will really help. Try to focus on the positve...like your two children. I have two kids also, they are worth fighting for. I wish no one ever had to do this, but it can be done. One day at a time. I will be saying prayers for you. Teena G.
