Hi Hazel... I am 48, 2 kids 17 & 26, only 1 grandchild. I had a mastectomy in 2000, no reconstruction. I know how overwhelming this all is, but it will get better, in time. Just take it a day at a time. We are all here for you. If you post on the main board more people will respond. Hope you are feeling better soon...Hugs
