my mum had wide local excision last wednesday after diagnosis of invasive lobular carcinoma - lump found to be 2cm and level 3 clearance of axillary lymph nodes undetaken - shes says she does not feel anything - just numb floating feeling, - next appt 2-2-05 for histology report - has anyone else had same kind of experience - her cancer is oestrogen receptive so tamoxifen ok and oncologist felt radiotherapy could be used as localised -
