I had my lumpectomy (right breast) on Nov. 29. (I had a post-op mammogram two wks. ago which showed some minute pinpoint calcifications higher up in the r. breast.)
I started radiation (33 sessions) a few days ago. The radiation oncologist believes the small calcifications may be "zapped" (away) w/ the radiation. He's ordered another mammogram in three months.
(I have 2 sister in laws & five friends who are breast cancer survivors. If we all lived closer together, we could have our own support group. I'd like to find a support group in my west WV area.)
