I have just finished Chemotherapy and am about to start my Radiotherapy. I have a high risk of recurrance. I have opted for a prophylactic bi lateral mastectomy with reconstructive surgery. An appointment has been made for me to meet a plastic surgeon, all being will surgery should be in the summer. I would love to hear from anyone who has had a double mastectomy with reconstructive surgery. Any news, advice would be greatfully received, thanks... Melanie F.
