I was browsing online and found this sight and thought I would send a note.I am a breast cancer survivor and had my surgery and reconstruction 3 years ago...it seems like yesterday!I had both breasts removed on January 8,2002 for invasive lobular and ductal and insitu lobular and ductal and immediately had a tram flap reconstruction.It was followed by 7 months of chemo because they found cancer in my lymph nodes.A year later in April of 2003,I had additional surgey because I didn't have enough tissue in my abdomen at the time,to create full breasts,so they put implants behind the tram.I live in Newportville,Pa. near Langhorne,so if you ever need to talk,just let me know.I am doing well and just go to my check-ups every 3-6 months...Take care Sharonanne,and let me know if you have any questions.
