I am from Las Vegas Nevada, I am only 32 years old.... I was dx w/ stg. III bc this last nov, 1 week b4 thxgvg., I ended up in the hospital on thxgvg...getting all my scans, thank the lord above everything came back neg., in any matter I had my first chemo in the hospt(cytoxin and adriomyacin) 12 weeks went by and then the doc said that he wanted to do another 12 week of taxol just as a precaution, then he will send me to the surgeon, I am done with my 6th week finally and slowly going down , pain, chemo brain, swelling hands and mostly feet, now i just learned that the feelings of blackness i have been having is depression.... I really cant wait for this crap to be over with so i can get back to my old self... I have to finish my nursing degree and head back to the bar...lol... I work there as a sexy bar maid... that's an even bigger lol... My biggest accomplishment since bc is that I have fallen in love with my beutiful children again, they are 15(son), 12(daughter, 9(daughter)... they are my only bright side! the down side to all this shit is that cancer succeeds at robbing you from everything that seems beutiful on the outside such as your hair , eyelashes, etc., to everything beutiful on the inside as well, such as your ability to stay positive and not think that this stupid thing could take your life, or where my children would end up if i passed on and what sort of legacy would i leave behind for them, before I was on a path to make sure that i get a well enough career to support them now i have no dignity because i had to go on public assistance and they only give me 106. a month with food stamps and full medicade(which is good because when this thing is over I wont be overburdened with bills) I can truely pick up where I left off... but no matter how flimsy i still try and hold on to the theory that this is just something that is just some minor inconvenience and i will be finished with it in no time.... i have got too much to do before I leave this world.
