I am so sorry to hear of your sister-in-law's condition.
I am in the U.K. too. I am 41 and dealing with bone mets. Please post onto the below board, it is a board attached to this one, except that it is expecially for those of us that are dealing with mets (and those that care about us).
I am pretty sure that Taxotere does not cross the blood/brain barrier but there are others on the board that will be able to give you more information.
