I had a lumpectamy on July 22,2005 and was told I had 1.7 CM, stage 1, grade 2 malignancy, infiltrating ductal carcinoma. I have an appointment with my medical oncolgist on Wed Aug 10. My Surgeon recommend radilogy only but I'm afraid that the cancer could be somewhere else. I feel like Chemothery would kill any cells that could have gotten into my blood stream and any cells left behind. How do you deal with the fear of the cancer being somewhere else. I was diagnoised with RA in April this year and wonder also if my white cells weren't trying to fight my cancer. Any feed back would be very helpful.
