Posted by Frank Hutton Jr. The tie in the the Rush, is that my father Frank Hutton Sr. who served here on the Rush well, his brother, the eldest brother, served on the Gage. There is a big push my several groups to try to save the Gage and make it a museum. I've e-mailed George Munk to see if he could put a link to the Save The Gage website. The only originally configured Haskell class APA still around and has been sitting in the James River reserve "ghost fleet" since the late 40's and virtually unnoticed by the Navy is finally coming under fire so to speak and is slated as a possible SINKEX target this year.
