vinyl top??

should i put a vinyl top back on the `73 scamp im restoring or should i just paint it the body color? im thinking hemi orange with a black(vinyl)top or maybe just hemi orange all the way around? by the way im puting a black bumblebee strip on it also any help and opinions greatly appreciated -josh
