You are worrying me I am getting ready to do the exact same swap. 318 904 to a 360 727. I was hoping all I would have to do was some minor linkage fabrication.If anyone has some tips on how to make this swap as painless as possible I would sure like to hear it.This is my first ground up build so I am new to this.I did enough research that the engine tranny swap was one thing I was'nt worried about now I am second guessing myself. Does the block and tranny have to be from the same rig? I was hoping to be able to just replace the torqe converter. The tranny and engine are the same year. I hope everything worked out for ya. If you (or anyone) can give me any first hand advice I would appreciate it. Thanks
