yes you can just change the hood and grill from a 71-72 ,scamp or duster to your 74 , but you also need to change out the front valance under the grill to the straight style of the 71-72, you can also use the front valance and bumper from the 71-72 on your 74, and you do not have to change the fenders . also the rear of the body is the same from a 71 - 74 , the only change out back was moving the bumper down, removing the bottom valance and installing the tail lights were the bumper was . the was done to meet new fedral bumper safety standards for 1974. the shell of the body didnt change one bit. i have a 71 , 72 , and 74, scamp . and the bodys r all the same , the only differnt parts on the body from a 71 and a 74 are the front pointed valance and the metal rear valance , thats it.
