The BBC last night decided that on Radio5live, the primary question was about whether the BBC should term the Hamas attack as 'Terrorism' or not? So what's happening and the causes are pushed aside and diverted. Instead we spend hours talking about 'terrorism'. As the host, a bloke called Daltun Adobyo, I think, intoned... The Russians have targetted civilians in Ukraine, only recently, should we then label them as a terrorist state?
He repeatedly said that the BBC thought long and hard about these labels, what do you think? he asked.
The misuse and tendentious twisting of language by the UK media is quite extraordinary, and it's probably deliberate, or are these journalists so well-trained that they automatically misuse language so brazenly?
