For the past decade, Israel has been strenuously pressing the West to let it drive the Palestinians out of Gaza and into Sinai. It's one reason why Egypt keeps its short land border with Gaza so tightly
closed.
Now Israeli officials are saying the quiet part out loud.

At least the 'Greater Gaza' plan was based on some kind of incentive scheme – carrot as well as stick – to get Palestinians out
of Gaza.
Now it looks like Israel will revert to type and simply terrorise them out.
