In contrast, one hears next to nothing about
'semitic tropes' which are all over the place, we're awash with them, reeled off by Israeli politicians, spokesmen/propagandists and their unswerving counterparts in the rest of the West. These tropes are rarely, if ever, examined; let alone critisiced or challenged for authenticity and accuracy. For example, when was the last time anyone in the Guardian, or anywhere else for that matter, was given space, to rebut Jonathan Freedland? Why is he given such freedom? Is he some kind of protected or endangered species?
