Why Landis waited so long, and whether his memory is accurate... This 'argument' about a Secret Service bodyguard finally telling his story about the JFK assassination, is in stark contrast, in fact, the opposite, to that employed when people come forward after years and claim to have been sexually attacked by some celebrity. Then, time is of no importance and their memories of such upleasant and traumatic circumstances are crystal clear, bizarrely, precisely because of the nature of the alleged incident! There is, it would seem, a world of difference between the 'conspiracies' journalist are allowed to believe and the ones they aren't. This is actually an interesting topic, which, perhaps unsurprisingly they aren't encouraged to pursue. Then there are all the 'conspiracies' or 'plots' that are true.
