Of course, in a hundred year's time there will be no Israel, or Palestine and this present history will be as irrelevant and as remote as the Mongolian hoards are to us now. . With a world 3 degree C hotter, and nearer 6 deg centigrade hotter in most land masses in the Northern Hemisphere, (The northern land masses are heating at roughly twice the rate of the global average) Israel and Palestine will be part of a continent wide desert region of lethal heat and aridity, something akin to the Empty Quarter of Saudi Arabia only on a massively larger scale. The traveller at that time will find an abandoned civilisation, a few snakes and scorpions, and will need to be careful not to trip over some abandoned Israeli nuclear missile hidden in the shifting sands.. '
