| I hadn't heard these rumours or reports (or reports of rumours) about banks taking action against Jeremy Clarkson but there's no doubt that the use of financial 'weapons' against those deemed guilty of Wrongthink and Thoughtcrimes is increasing. In recent months, a number of individuals and groups have had Paypal accounts closed with no explanation. Canada froze bank accounts of protesting truckers and those who supported them with no due process whatsoever. And not to be left behind, the UK tried it with Graham Phillips because of his stance on Russia/Ukraine. Concerns about due process, freedom of speech? How quaint, how yesterday. Increasingly, I don't recognise this country. |
