I heard a BBC piece today that they presented from the safety and comfort of the Lonond studio, as a report from the 'frontline' in Ukraine. Gosh, I thought, that'll be a first! Anyway, it wasn't from the 'frontline' at all, but from a field clinic 'near the frontline' as the journalist explained. How near, I wondered? Why didn't he say? Was it one km, two km, five, ten? Why the secrecy? Why so vague? It was all about wounded Ukrainian soldiers and their treatment. One of them even said that unless they received more weapons, they'd 'lose the game' which seemed to shock the BBC journalist! These people really are the pits of the world. They pretend to be free and independent journalists, but they aren't. They are state employees, civil servants, diplomats doing a bit of journalism on the side.
