Glanced a two articles in the Guardina the other day. One was arguing for 'hard choices' in the UK in relation to the NHS and the welfare state, in order to transfer resources to the military to pay for an expanding war against Russia! The second was by a mad woman arguing that it's not a question of 'if' buy 'when' the Russians will play the nuclear blackmail card by blowing up one of the Ukrainian power stations they control, causing a huge environmental disaster. According to her the Russians have been carrying out... 'genocide' in Ukraine, and so on, in a similar vane. Remember, this is in the 'liberal/left' Guardian, which has lurched so far to the reactionary, crazed, right; that it's in danger of dissappearing completely up its own woolly jumper! |
