5/ … I do not know whether this was launched on the orders of Iran to destroy the Abraham Accords, or green-lit by Lavrov. But this – together with Kosovo, Nagorno, Sahel and Sudan – is a consequence of the “multipolar” world fought for by BRICS+ and their sympathisers….

7/ … I do not want to go back to a Pax Americana. I want to go forward to the restoration of international law, the Charter system and universal concepts of human rights. Putin’s Valdai speech charted the exact opposite course. So did his declaration with Xi in Feb 22…
So, the Hamas actions are partly a consequence of 'multipolarity' and BRICS, according to Mason.
He seems to recognise that US unipolar hegemony is on its way out.
Which is true.
As Mark Doran has noted, from the Zionist point of view now would seem to be the time for Israel to get its second nakba in, before it is too late.
From another point of view, if 'multipolarity' has become a thing and there are alternative power brokers on the ascendant, it might make more sense for Israel to try to wage peace on the Palestinians and play nicely in the neighbourhood.
Who would doubt that they are most likely to attempt the first option.
