but she's heading for Jerusalem because listening to all those explosions are so tiresome.
If more people saw what deranged fanatics the settlers are I think they may think twice about "standing with" them....no amount of cajolery, and no attempts at ethical or social seduction, can eradicate from my heart a deep burning hatred for the Tory Party...So far as I am concerned they are lower than vermin.
Evil little shit....no amount of cajolery, and no attempts at ethical or social seduction, can eradicate from my heart a deep burning hatred for the Tory Party...So far as I am concerned they are lower than vermin.
Our media massages and grooms us. The BBC/Guardian invariably interview Israelis who are 'moderates' and 'liberal' Jews in Israel. This gives a wrong impression of the country, which is increasingly split down the middle between two mutually hostile (under normal circumstances) and powerful groups. The western orientated 'cultural' Jews and the eastern 'religious' Jews.
Historically, it was the libral Jews who founded and controlled Israel, for decades; but that's changed fundamentally. The balance in Israeli society and politics has tipped in favour of the religious/eastern Jews and they are changing the character of the country.
The BBC has also almost totally ignored the views of the 20%+ group of Israeli citzens who are Palestinians. That's a really big ethnic group, minority, to just ignore, to cancel.
If the Israelis start slaughtering the trapped and defenceless population of Gaza in huge numbers, then things could rapidly escalate into a much bigger conflict.
To even call the coming attack on Gaza, a 'war' is misinformation in my opinion. It's a battle, where one side, Israel, has a overwhelming military advantage, a modern army and airforce, going right the way up to nuclear weapons, another frightening secret the West is complicit in keeping from the public. If Hezbollah and Iran become involved and turn the tide on the battlefield, will Israel be tempted to use some of their nuclear weapons? It's relevant question, but one the West is too scared to address. The West's complicity in this ghastly conflict, for decades, is something else that cannot be addressed. Why did we allow things to get this far?
